QEII Recreation Ground, Leat Road, Lifton

Lifton Parish Council own a large recreation ground which provides a much-loved and well-used space for members of the local community and visitors to enjoy. The space is managed by a small group of local people, the QE11 Recreation Ground Committee.

The recreation ground is ideally situated along the River Lyd and provides grass pitches for cricket and football matches in addition to space for dog walking and other recreational activities.

There is a sports pavilion (available for private hire), onsite car parking and disability access.

The children’s play area has undergone some changes over the past year or so. This has been undertaken as a phased project to replace the playground surface and some of the existing play equipment. Watch this space for further updates.
